Corpse Reviver No 2
Designed to improve one's morning the chief purpose of this classic cocktail was to rouse the drinker from the dead. In other words it is meant to cure hangovers and increase vigor, hmmm. Whatever its intent it is one of the great boozy cocktails.
Ingredients
ABSINTHE TO RINSE
3/4OZ 1000 PIERS GIN
3/4OZ LILLET BLANC
3/4OZ ORANGE LIQUEUR
3/4OZ FRESH LEMON JUICE
Method
Rinse the inside of a chilled coupe glass with the absinthe and discard. Shake the gin, Lillet Blanc and orange liqueur and lemon juice with ice until well chilled. Strain into the glass.
