Elderflower Gin Sour
A great Gin Sour showcases the perfect balance between sweet and tart. The 'sour' element comes from lemon juice. The use of an egg white creates a foamy top and a deliciously creamy mouthfeel. The addition of elderflower liqueur and our 1000 Piers Blueberry Gin brings a subtle fruit/floral sweetness to this classic 19th Century cocktail.
1 1/2 OZ 1000 PIERS BLUEBERRY GIN
1/2 OZ ELDERFLOWER LIQUEUR
1 OZ LEMON JUICE
OPTIONAL: 1 EGG WHITE
First dry shake the egg white, shake for 10 secs. After shaking the egg white add your gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice and ice. Shake well. Pour into a coup glass.
